Gutter Cat Gang is an internet community and lifestyle brand. In 2022, they secured the naming rights to Team Gutter Cats in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a $1 million PUMA-sponsored single elimination summer event broadcast on ESPN.

I worked with Gutter Cat Gang, TBT and PUMA to design and spec the Gutter Cats uniforms for the 2022 and 2023 tournaments in line with PUMA’s guidelines, including unique logo packages, trims, and a custom font for jersey numbers.

I also consulted on the retail strategy for these uniforms, a first-time offering for both Gutter Cat Gang and TBT. As a result Team Gutter Cats became the exclusive team with a jersey available on the TBT website during an online flash sale. This initiative was a precursor to a broader 2023 rollout, featuring jerseys from all teams and introducing an additional SKU for team shorts.
